Hi, my name is Ava Bonilla, and I am a senior at Loretto Academy.

I am a Loretto News Editor for The Prax, and it is my first year as part of Loretto’s journalism team.

I’m excited to be part of this class because it requires a different type of writing that you don’t usually use in classic essays, but it has helped enhance my writing skills by showing me other ways to create a story.

I also enjoy discussing current events, locally and globally, because I am more aware of and interested in the news around me.

I enjoy interacting with people in my community by interviewing and asking them questions because it helps me branch out and get to know many people I would not normally talk to.

In my free time, I enjoy dancing and spending time with my friends on the weekends.

In the future, I would like to become a physician’s assistant and be able to help people in the world.

I am thankful for the opportunity to bring awareness to the Loretto community about issues and topics around us so that people are well-educated and informed about important stories in our world.
