Loretto Alumna Luncheon 2026

The annual Loretto Alumna Luncheon was more than just a gathering of graduates and students; it was a celebration of tradition, empowerment, and the lasting connection shared among generations of women in the Loretto community.

The luncheon brought together alumni, faculty, students, and families to honor the legacy that continues to shape young women into confident leaders.

One of the most memorable parts of the event was hearing from the keynote speaker, Judge Olivares, whose words deeply inspired those in attendance.

She spoke about the importance of leadership, perseverance, and using one’s success to uplift others.

Encouraging the new generation of graduates, she reminded students to “keep Loretto forever” by carrying its values throughout their lives and helping others whenever they have the ability to do so.

Her speech empowered many students in the room and highlighted the strong sense of service and community that Loretto represents.

For many students, the most emotional moment came during the alumni pin ceremony.

Receiving the pin symbolized becoming part of a lifelong sisterhood and continuing the legacy of generations of women connected to Loretto, and it was especially impactful for those students who received it from their mothers.

Senior Victoria Sotelo said, “What I liked most about the event was the moment when my alumni pin was placed on me. It felt very meaningful, and I hope that one day I can have the chance to place a pin on someone else and be part of that special moment for them too.”

Attending the luncheon with family members who were also alumni made the experience even more meaningful, showing how deeply rooted the tradition is within many families.

The luncheon was not simply an event; it was a reminder that being part of Loretto extends far beyond graduation.

Through shared memories, encouragement, and tradition, the celebration inspired students to carry the values of leadership, compassion, and service into the future.

For many, attending this tradition with their moms made them feel very proud.

It means a lot to continue the legacy of generations in families going to Loretto, and it feels even more special knowing that they made their mom’s proud too.
