Farewell to the Prax

I would like to thank my wonderful Prax team and Mrs. Lockhart for providing me with such an insightful and amazing experience for my first year joining The Prax.

When I first started to write for The Prax, I was very nervous and unsure of my writing skills, but with the help of my peers I was able to elevate my skills and take them to the next level.

Thank you to the seniors who welcomed me into the team and taught me the importance of time management, valuable leadership and writing skills.

This year has taught me many significant lessons and I hope to continue this essential tradition for the upcoming year and I am excited to continue the legacy.

My name is Viviana Liano, and I’m a junior at Loretto Academy and I am the Loretto News Section Editor and Social Media Manager. This is my first year writing for The Prax, and I couldn’t be more excited to contribute to our renowned newspaper. I look forward to covering important school events, amplifying student voices, and ensuring that the information shared is accurate and engaging. My goal is to help keep our community informed and connected through significant stories about life at and beyond Loretto. This is my ninth year at Loretto, and throughout my time here, I’ve gained countless valuable lessons and made truly meaningful connections. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing volleyball, and watching my favorite TV shows including Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries and Gilmore Girls. After high school , I hope to pursue a degree in Business or Biology and a career in Dentistry or Business. Through my writing, I hope to keep students informed and inspired. I’m confident that, alongside my fellow writers, this will be a successful and exciting year at The Prax!
