In a world where a simple dress can completely elevate a girl’s confidence and reveal her true personality, magic happens.
This is an organization that stands as a beacon of hope, providing free gowns to girls in need, these gowns ensure that every young woman can feel like a princess on her special day.
Amelie Perches, is a junior at Loretto Academy and the head sponsor for Belle of the Ball.
This year, hundreds of girls walk through the doors of Belle of the Ball, as eyes light up at the sight of beautiful dresses increasing their excitement for prom.
It not only provides dresses but it also empowers young women to embrace their individuality, allowing these young girls to shine on one of the most memorable nights of their lives.
Amelie said, “Belle of the Ball is so much more than just giving away dresses, It’s about making girls feel seen and valued. Prom is a point in a teenage girl’s life where we realize we really are growing up and soon starting a new chapter in our life.”
As eight volunteers work tirelessly to create a welcoming environment, they understand that for many of these girls, the experience goes beyond just receiving a dress.
Belle of the Ball is about building confidence and creating lasting memories with the smiles shared during the fittings and so much more.
Loretto Academy student and volunteer for Belle of the Ball Natalia Espino, a junior at Loretto Academy said, “ In my opinion, Belle of the Ball is necessary because it removes the financial barrier to prom dresses, so that every girl can participate in the milestone that is prom night.”
The organization made the local news, which demonstrates how impactful the organization Ella Blu is and how it makes changes in young girls’ lives.

Belle of the Ball shines brightly, reminding us all that every girl deserves to feel beautiful and valued no matter her circumstances.
Ella Blu is not just about fashion, it’s about lifting spirits and making dreams come true, one dress at a time.
