Punk Girl Rock, was the musical performed from April 16 to April 18 in the Loretto Little Theater, following Angela, a shy and nerdy girl discovering confidence after meeting the rebellious Proxi and her friends.
As the story unfolds, Angela learns that Proxi and her friends are actually aliens sent to Earth to prove that music has the power to unite people everywhere.
The production combined humor, friendship, and music to create an entertaining story while also showing audiences the importance of self-expression, acceptance, and connection through shared experiences.
Clair said, “and my experience was very good, the community on and off stage are always friendly and ready to help, it’s also usually pretty organized on how we get things done during rehearsal.”
The cast and crew worked together closely throughout rehearsals to make the performances successful and enjoyable for both the actors and the audience attending each night.
