During the spring season, I’ve been reaching for desserts that feel bright, and in spirit for the upcoming holiday, these are a few recipes I plan to bake and recommend this season.
At the top of my list is a lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting and it does not disappoint, the citrus lemon and blueberry jam balance out perfectly with the frosting.
I’m also looking at white chocolate raspberry cookies, a more intermediate bake that combines a basic sugar cookie recipe with raspberry jam, and a white chocolate square on each cookie.
For an easier recipe, try spring rice crispy treats, it’s the usual butter, marshmallow, and rice
crispies, but with pastel sprinkles on top for a spring twist.
