Candy cane exchange spreads holiday cheer

The international club will host a one dollar candy cane exchange with Cathedral High School, letting students send treats to friends to fund their flower exchange for Valentine’s Day.

Students can order candy canes for one dollar each to be delivered to friends at Loretto or Cathedral, with the International Club members managing all sales and deliveries.

The exchange will support their upcoming flower exchange event, which will take place in February for Valentines day.

International Club will promote the exchange through posters, announcements, and campus outreach.

International Club president Camila Otero said, “We want this to bring girls together and help those around us,” bringing the Loretto and Cathedral community together.

Money raised will directly fund the Valentine’s Day flower exchange, helping cover costs, while the candy canes will be passed out December 12, during homeroom.
