The introduction to the freshman class has approached Loretto Academy, where the whole high school teams up to unite the sisterhood!

Hey week welcomes our freshie babies, and involves our student body and grade levels to bond with them.

Tradition is very valued at Loretto Academy, and every class starts by incorporating the freshmen into our new angel traditions from day one.

Student body president, Lucia Urrea, said, “Starting a new year of high school is hectic, especially as a freshman and senior- but both for different reasons.”

Lucia said, “Hey week has a variety of activities and each one is special because of the time you spend with each class.”

This welcoming week allows students to get along through creative ways, and helps them open up more with other grade levels.

Hey Week is very special because it helps the upperclassmen get to know the new generation and allows them to help them feel at home.
