Seniors Claim Victory

On September 26, 2025, the most exciting day of the year for Loretto Angels, the seniors came together and competed for the win!

Field day is one of the favorite traditions of the school year, and it requires full participation from every teacher and student.

Loretto Academy Athletics (LAA) is the club that runs this special tradition, bringing teachers and students together.

LAA vice president Mia Velasquez said, “We try to make everyone feel included by having different types of activities and challenges.”

School spirit, cheering, sports competitions, and races are what define the winner.

The winners this year being the seniors, had a secret surprise, Mariachi and a great dance.

Teacher sponsors also compete to support their classes, accumulating the most points for their students.

Even though classes were playing against one another, they still supported and cheered on each grade level, showcasing the strong sisterhood bond.

Field Day is a unique tradition that only Loretto does, and makes the school more united through different games.
