Loretto Academy, Cathedral High School First Senior Sunrise

This is the first year Loretto Academy and Cathedral High School combined Senior Sunrise traditions, which took place on October 3, 2025.

In the early hours of the morning, the senior Angels and Irish gathered on the soccer field to welcome the sunrise and share a meaningful moment of unity.

The purpose behind combining the Senior Sunrise traditions was to deepen the connection between the two schools and strengthen the bond within the senior classes.

Student body vice president, Precious Pieri said, “We felt that merging our traditions could strengthen our schools and foster new friendships with our brother school.”

Loretto Academy Senior Sponsors provided a variety of food and coffee trucks for the seniors as a breakfast treat.

This new joint tradition not only encourages collaboration but also allows seniors to create lasting memories together.

By sharing this experience, both schools can cherish a special time that reflects the spirit of unity and sisterhood that defines their senior year.
