On October 24, 2025, our underclass Angels embarked on their retreat and strengthened the bonds of sisterhood that define our community.

This year was particularly remarkable, as it marked 100% participation for the freshman class, proving their enthusiasm and unity from the start.

The freshman retreat was started off by student council president Lucia Urrea and vice president Precious Pieri, who shared an inspiring message about the true meaning and value of sisterhood.

Class sponsor Mr. Causey also spoke, remarking on the importance of friendship and cherishing life’s greatest gifts.

A highlight of the retreat was a guest presentation by Deacon Danny, who emphasized the lasting value of Loretto education and how it shaped students to work together for a better future.

Reflecting on the day, freshman class president Camila Chavez said, “I would’ve never thought that after spending just eight hours together, I’d be talking to girls I never expected to connect with.”

Following the freshmen, the sophomore class experienced their retreat on November 6, 2025.

They were guided by class sponsor Ms.Cortez, who encouraged them to continue nurturing their bonds through this year’s theme, “Compassion in Action.”

Father Wilbert Colas came from St. Raphael’s to give the sophomore class an inspiring message on how important prayer, friendship, and compassion are for this generation.

This is just the start for our upperclassmen angels to grow with sisterhood, with our teachers and staff who do an amazing job helping them create those bonds and memories.
