Suspecting that everything is not as it seems and being trapped in an alternate reality is the opening plot for the Disney + Marvel Universe new series, WandaVision, that has caused a global emotion.

Marvel’s sitcom is directed by Matt Shakman, an American film director.

The tv-series first season premiered on January 15 in Disney+.

WandaVision, according to Disney+, is primarily ‘based on the Marvel Comics superheroes of Vision and Wanda Maximoff’, on the series played by Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

Elizabeth Gunnison, Loretto junior and Varsity team swimmer, was astonished by the series and expressed her thoughts.

Gunnison said,  “I stayed up late last Friday to watch the last episode and wow! It’s so good and each episode just gets better and better. The final episode made me cry.”

Paul Bettany, British actor playing Vision, described the show as “definitely the oddest of all the Marvel endeavors so far.”

The series is heavily influenced by the impactful series of The Vision

It is informed that non Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) watchers can jump right in and enjoy the series even without knowing anything about the MCU.

However, the series involves some details describing the evolution/development  of characters and others that are key for Marvel’s fourth phase.

Daniela Robles-Ruiz, junior at Loretto, shared some insights and experience watching the show.

Robles-Ruiz said, “Wandavision surpassed my expectations immensely. I loved the show, especially how it expanded on Wanda’s trauma and grief in a very whimsical and impacting way.”

The series takes place after the Avengers phase ended and so not much has been announced on the continuation.

As season one of WandaVision wrapped up Friday March 5th, Marvel has still not announced a future continuation or guaranteed a second season.
