Famous painter, Bob Ross, will be payed homage by a new permanent interactive exhibition in the recreated show set of  The Joy of Painting in Indiana.

The new permanent exhibition is located at the Minnetrista museum in Muncie, Indiana.

The exhibit takes place where the painter filmed more than 400 episodes of his show The Joy of Painting.

Bob Ross has been an icon for multiple generations.

With his distinctive features and iconic phrases, Ross did not only succeeded with the generation of viewers back when his show was aired but he remains being a global success with today’s new generations.

He took full advantage of all of his surroundings, expressing his pieces of art in some way we would understand the context he wanted to convey to his audience and the world.

They recreated the set, paying the iconic painter homage.

Visitors will not only see the iconic “happy little trees,” “almighty mountains”, and “fluffy clouds,” but also some of his personal belongings.

Visitors will encounter some of the artifacts he used to use while filming on display, like easels, palettes, his hair pick, his shirts and keys.

The Minnetrista museum said, “We refurbished Bob’s former studio, bringing together objects and media from Bob’s life and career, and adding interactive experiences that will bring the The Joy of Painting to life for visitors.

The Bob Ross Experience at Minnetrista creates a space for Bob’s message to flourish.”

Ross had fearless creativity and encouraged everyone to pick up a brush and at least try.

This exhibit is open to all masked public; visitors are allowed to interact with most of the replica objects featured in the tv show.

Ana Lucia Valenzuela, a junior from Loretto Academy, was thrilled for this new experience in Indiana.

Valenzuela said, “I was excited hearing about this, because Bob Ross has been around for several generations and with this everyone can literally experience the environment in which he used to paint and film his show.”

The $1.2 million interactive experience includes master classes taught by certified Bob Ross’ instructors.

It allows visitors to experience and explore the painter’s workshop.

The price may vary depending on the age of the visitor and if they are local residents or non-residents.

Although the iconic American painter died 25 years ago, his calmed behavior, soft-spoken voice and optimistic approach have ensured his popularity to this day.
