Saturday Night Fever

Cristina Robles, Entertainment and Class Sections Reporter

As the year begins, looking for something to do is always a task.

The UTEP Department of Theater and Dance will be coming up with the production of Saturday Night Fever.

This musical is based on Nick Cohn’s 1975 New York Magazine article “Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night” and Norman Wexler’s 1977 film.

Saturday Night Fever is about Tony Manero, a boy from Brooklyn who uses dancing as a way to forget about his problems.

The play will be held at UTEP Dinner Theater on January 31 through February 23.

Tickets are around $30 to $50.

There’s no better way to spend the evening than by watching this play while listening to hits by the Bee Gees!
