Goodbye summer workouts, hello fall workouts

Daniela Martell, Sports Editor

You have said your goodbyes to summer, and you welcome the fall.

It is the time when the leaves fall; it is not hot, but not cold either.

The sun is setting at an earlier time, and all one wants to do is cuddle up with sweats and an oversized hoodie.

You want to get home, get done with homework, and watch movies in bed.

Working out? What even is that at a time like this?

Nobody wants to go out to the gym when one can be under the safety of the covers of one’s bed.

But no! We have to stay healthy to not just live a long life, but to get through finals.

Working out decreases the chances of getting sick.

There are other ways of working out that don’t include the gym.

One doesn’t even need to leave the comfort of their home in order to work out.

My favorite and most effective routine is watch any home workouts on YouTube (Alexis Ren workouts are a 10/10) and watch Netflix as I am doing them.

I can assure you that they are effective because I will be sore the following day and suffer going up and down the stairs, plus carrying the enormous books.

Doing these workouts will help you avoid feeling guilty about eating pumpkin pie!

Try doing a 30 day challenge, where you follow the same 10 minute or so workout!

It makes a healthier and more balanced life.
