Daniela Martell
I am Daniela Martell, a junior in Loretto Academy.

I am the Sports Editor for The Prax and part of the Loretto Varsity Tennis team.

I believe that to form a well-rounded opinion on a subject, one has to be aware of events that have happened and that are happening.

Journalism has taught me that knowing about events going on in our world, makes one more aware of things that need to be changed.

As a minority of race and gender, I know that when platforms are given to minorities, they shout for all of those who are voiceless.

I have played many sports, but my favorite one will forever be tennis.

I enjoy going to soccer games with my dad and softball games with my grandfather.

My plan for the future is to go to college and study something related to communications.

From this class, I hope to not only be more aware of world events, but to also form my own judgement.
