Prom night, the night where young women
schedule their hair and makeup appointments
in the afternoon while young men try on their
suave suits.
It is the night where everything can go
perfectly right… or go tremendously wrong.
Here are some guidelines on what to do and
what not to do on prom night:
First thing’s first, the pro tip before getting
ready for prom is to get hair and makeup
done, as well as a manicure or pedicure,
before the meeting time with a date.
If there is no time to schedule an
appointment, then there is always the simple
do it yourself home guide!
Select the hairstyle and beauty pallet from
Pinterest or makeup tutorials on YouTube that
collaborate with the elected dress.
Before leaving the house, it is necessary to
take items that would be useful throughout
the night, such as lipstick, chapstick, bobby

pins, a portable charger, or mints in a clutch
or purse.
It would even be useful to carry super glue
in case a heel breaks!
It is usually a good idea to get ready in the
early afternoon, around 2:00 PM or 4:00 PM,
to be on time for 5:30 glowing hour sunset
pictures with friends and dates before it gets
too dark.
If a date is requesting to go to a restaurant
before going to the actual dance, try not to go
to a restaurant where things could get messy
or even cause bad breath, such as hot wings
or tuna salad.
If the dance has already started and dancing
has commenced, make sure to not get into a
heavily crowded group of people.
Sweat will protrude and the humidity will
decrease the volume in hair.
Afterward, when the night is over and it is
time to go home… do NOT let the date have
a kiss!

Rule number one, above all the others,
never share a kiss with a date because it is not
a cliche night represented in a movie, it is real
life, and guys have other ideas.
Overall, it is efficient to just be oneself
whenever and wherever and if the date does
not like that, then prom will be the first and
last time there will ever be a shared dance.
