Sarah Thomas becomes the first woman in the NFL to officiate a playoff game

Not all eyes were on the Tom Brady and Philip

Rivers as they faced each other for the playoffs, they were also on Sarah Thomas.

Sarah Thomas became the first woman ever to officiate an NFL playoff game, as she officiated the Patriots-Chargers game on January 13.

Thomas is also known for being the first woman to officiate a college football bowl game and the first full-time woman  referee in the NFL. 

She continues to be a groundbreaking woman and fights for equal opportunities, so all young females understand their place in the world.
