Loretto Academy welcomes another strong and independent woman that goes by the name of Mrs. Janise Pries as our new middle school and Freshmen counselor!

This unique member of the Loretto family has graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor’s of Arts and has graduated from UTEP with a Master’s in Education and Certification of Principle.

She has been Guidance Director for the Ysleta district for eleven years, and now she has come to Loretto to enlighten us with her intelligence and guidance.

“I love the girls here, girls are girls, they are free to be who they are.

I am glad I am meeting across the levels from young middle schoolers to upperclass women,” she said.

With a content smile on her face, she said, “I am glad.”
