My journey on The Prax

My journey on The Prax

Viviana Orozco, Staff Reporter

Being a reporter for a newspaper is more than just a job; it’s a vocation that requires a unique blend of curiosity, tenacity, and a passion for storytelling.

As I sit here, contemplating my experiences and the countless stories I’ve had the privilege of covering on The Prax, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment.

I learned the art of storytelling, each article is an opportunity to engage people in the Loretto community, and to inform them about everything that makes Loretto a sisterhood.

I’ve faced moments of uncertainty and encountered roadblocks along the way, but through everything Mrs. Lockhart taught us, I’ve learned to overcome these challenges.

As I reflect on my journey as a reporter for The Prax, I realize that the role of a reporter extends far beyond the printed words on a page.

I had the opportunity to cover all of my favorite Loretto traditions, experiences, and stories, which is something I wouldn’t trade for the world.

I look forward to the future, knowing that each article I penned, each story I told, has informed people on everything about Loretto, and will inspire the next batch of The Prax reporters to do the same.
