The City of El Paso, Texas is in for an exciting show season in 2023.

A variety of artists from many music genres will be blessing El Paso natives with their skills. Those who are fans of musicals are also in for a treat with a spread of both age-old classics and debuts. 

 

April

The fourth month of 2023 brings with it an interesting spread of artists. The month features artists such as Chicago Bling (April 8th, Comic Strip), Musical Treasures – Lushtak (April 16th, Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall), Rauw Alejandro (April 22nd, Don Haskins Center), and Cuco (April 29th, The Lowbrow Palace)

The University of Texas at El Paso will be showcasing its wind symphony and symphony orchestra on April 25th and April 28th respectively, at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall. 

In addition, The Plaza Theater will be putting on the classic musical Dear Evan Hansen, starting March 28th and ending April 2nd. 

The theater will also be displaying the El Paso Symphony Orchestra (April 21st–23rd), and comedians such as the live edition of the Mexican podcast La Cotorrisa (April 16th) and Rogelio Ramos (April 28th). 

 

May

The fifth month of the year is also packed with events. May will be featuring artists like The King and Country (May 2nd, El Paso County Coliseum), Zoso – Led Zeppelin Tribute Band (May 7th, The Lowbrow Palace), Feid (May 9th & May 10th, EL Paso County Coliseum), The 90s Pop Tour (May 20th, El Paso County Coliseum) and the Aquadolls (May 30th, The Lowbrow Palace). 

UTEP will continue to be featured in the El Paso musical world with its Jazz Bands performing in the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on May 2nd. 

In May, The Plaza Theater doesn’t host a Broadway musical, but it does have shows with Leon Larregui (May 14th, The Plaza Theater) and Theresa Caputo (May 17th, The Plaza Theater).

 

June

The sixth month of 2023 is not so full of performances. June will feature Siddhartha (June 11th, The Lowbrow Palace), CNCO (June 15th, Abraham Chavez Theater), and George Lopez (June 23rd, Abraham Chavez Theater).

The Plaza Theater will bring to El Paso Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (June 17th), and Madagascar: The Musical (June 20th). 

 

July

The seventh month of the year marks a comeback for the musical scene with artists such as Hermanos De Leche (July 1st, UTEP Magoffin Auditorium), Havok & Toxic Holocaust (July 19th, Rockhouse Bar & Grill), Santa Fe Klan (July 27th, El Paso County Coliseum) and Milky Chance (July 31st, Abraham Chavez Theater). 

The Plaza Theater will be displaying the classic musical Hamilton from July 5th, to July 16th, for all fans of musicals. 

 

El Paso will be displaying both popular artists and laser-known artists in its impressive musical spread.
