Loretto’s tennis team has a very exciting and busy upcoming schedule. 

They practice every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 a.m. 

On Friday, March 24, the team played in a quad tournament against Coronado, Franklin, and El Paso High. 

Regionals will take place in Dallas, Texas, and the team is preparing for a win. 

From the team, Senior Jayne Nowak, juniors Emma Isaac, and sophomore Ciana Chavez were chosen to represent Loretto Academy at state. 

Team member and Loretto senior Jayne Nowak said, “Last year we did really well at regionals and made it to state and made it to the quarter-finals.

We’re hoping to make it back and do even better.” 

Update: The girls doubles got third place and Nowak placed fifth.

With all the practice and dedication from each member of the team, the girls are bound to do well and bring home a win.
