Loretto Academy hosted its annual college fair for seniors, and the event was open to Loretto Academy and Cathedral High School students.

The event took place on Monday, October 17, at 6 p.m. in the Loretto Academy gym.

Over 30 universities came to provide students and parents with information regarding applications, admissions, and scholarships.

The universities that attended included: the University of Texas at Austin, Baylor University, Texas Tech University, and many more.

This is an important and informative event for Loretto seniors to attend as they continue to submit college applications.

Loretto senior, Carolina Wong said, “I am excited to talk to college advisers, get to know universities, and talk to someone from the university face-to-face.”

Carolina Wong was looking forward to seeing the University of Texas at Austin, Grand Canyon University, and Incarnate Word.

Loretto’s college counselor, Ms. Artalejo, said, “I think it went very well; 350 people went including parents, Cathedral, Loretto, and Father Yermo High School [students].”

The college fair came as a huge success with long lines of Cathedral and Loretto students planning for the next chapter of their lives at college.
