On October 12th, Loretto’s varsity volleyball team came together for their last game in farewell of the two seniors on the team.

This year’s varsity volleyball team had 2 seniors and 9 juniors on the team.

Senior, Gabriela Dominguez, said, “Being in varsity was definitely more exciting.

I felt more comfortable playing since it was my last year.

I remember freshman year as being chaotic and crazy, but both were a fun experience.”

Dominguez said she and the other senior, Alyssa Apodaca, started playing volleyball in 7th grade.

“Because this is my last year playing volleyball in high school, I’m sad that I’ll never be able to play with my teammates again,” said Apodaca.

The two seniors said they are glad to have had a wonderful team and sisterly bonds that made their four years of playing volleyball together a great experience.
