Spring break dynamism

Spring break is accustomed to be a synonym for partying and leaving school aside for a moment.

People would get together with friends, travel, and party, as if nothing could transmit from one body to another.

With almost a year on a pandemic, it  has led people to create a different lifestyle when it comes to plans.

This year, spring break will be a time for the girls to stay away from the screen, create time for hobbies, and enjoy time with their families.

Senior Victoria Akle said, “During spring break I want to continue to learn guitar, and learn how to make jewelry.”

Like Akle, some girls enjoy finding out their creative auras, while others are looking forward to taking a deep breath away from school.

Freshman Barbara Urias said, “I am looking forward to being able to enjoy my mornings peacefully, and be able to go to sleep at whatever time I would like.”

Although online school has certain freedom perks, school work is always in the way, and spending time away from the screen can be hard.

Some girls are looking forward to enjoying their families now that school responsibilities will be set aside.

Junior Daniela Robles said, “I’m most likely going to spend time with my family and read which is something that I haven’t done in a while because of all my schoolwork.”

Sophomore Mariana Clapp said, “This spring break I’m just planning on relaxing and spending time with my family.”

As much as this year’s spring break can sound different to many of the girls, it is still a time to destress from school for a while.

Just as the third quarter comes to an end, spring break arrives with plenty of eagerness.
