Clubs bettering community

It comes as no surprise that Loretto students are going above and beyond to help their local community.

With the core values of faith, community, justice, and respect instilled in their hearts, they’d like to do more for the people they care about.

Hope Club is focused on inspiring and helping those who need it.

Earlier in the year, they placed kind notes on lockers and throughout the school.

A relatively new club, Star Club’s primary purpose is to do community service and make donations.

Women Empowering Women has been an incredibly relevant club at Loretto Academy.

After all, Loretto’s all about empowering women.

On February 10, they plan on donating to the Ronald McDonald House.

The McDonald House is a non-profit organization that helps families who are in need.

Vice President Aurorasofia Zepeda said, “Women Empowering Women wants to give back to the community and help out there.

“Overall, we are looking for ways to reach out in the community and make an impact on other people’s lives, not just in the Loretto community.”

Loretto’s robotics team held a toy drive for the children’s hospital and donated clothes to an orphanage across the border.

We look forward to seeing what our girls will do next!
