The beautiful Show Choir had their recital the past Tuesday, December 10.

Guitar class as well as Loretto’s band performed melodies such as “Jingle Bells” and “Up on the Housetop.”

The Show Choir along with the Treble Chorus performed “Beautiful December,” “Carol of the Bells,” and “Merry Christmas to All.”

The singers also presented R.J. Bustillos’ favorite Christmas carol, “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.”

Show Choir’s president, Anacristina Muniz, said, “My favorite part was singing “Mary Did You Know,” it is the favorite of almost everyone in the choir, and it is fun to sing.”

Loretto’s favorite dancers in Orchesis also performed their biannual presentation on Thursday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m.

The event was hosted in the Loretto Academy gym and everyone was invited to attend.

Mrs. Cecilia Cortez is always proud to present her beautiful Orchesis dancers.

Aerobic performance and dance performance classes also had the opportunity to participate in this artistic activity.

This year, Orchesis presented a winter performance.

Orchesis vice president Sophia Chew said, “We have rehearsals after school and often times during lunch.”

They have been preparing most of their dances for a long time already.

Orchesis performed songs like “Emergency,” “Chasing Cars,” and they finalized with “Mary Did You Know.”

“I am grateful for every year and all the blessings that came with it,” said Chew.

The emotional performances were pleasant to all present; everyone enjoyed it very much.
