This year’s sophomores were able to receive information about sexual abuse through talks that they received in the little theater during Sophomore Day back in September.

The students were shown videos to demonstrate safe dating from CASFV (Center Against Sexual & Family Violence.)

Andrea Baeza said “I received a lot of information that I didn’t know about.

I need to be aware of my surroundings to be able to keep myself and my friends safe.”

These talks highlight the importance of staying safe in a time where sexual abuse is very prominent in today’s culture.

Throughout the semester, the sophomores have supported the Center Against Sexual and Family Violence (CASFV) by collecting goods, creating hygiene kits, stocking their shelf with useful products, and setting up a few fundraisers.
