Hi! My name is Daniela Barraza and I am a senior at Loretto Academy.

This is my first year working on The Prax and am beyond honored to have the role of Managing Editor and Loretto News Section Editor.

At a young age, I developed a drive to use my voice to make a change in my surrounding community.

Grateful for the opportunity, I will put my passion into my work and continue Loretto’s long-standing tradition of providing an outlet for student voices and promoting leadership.

In my fourth year at Loretto Academy, I learned the importance of sisterhood and building deeper relationships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Outside of writing, I enjoy baking, watching movies, and taking photographs.

My future plans are to attend college at the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduate with a major in cybersecurity.

With my experience and the support of my fellow officers, I am confident that we will have a successful year at The Prax alongside our mentor, Ms. Lockhart.
