Junior retreat
November 16, 2018
The junior class held their annual retreat on August 30, 2018.
Loretto hosts a Junior Retreat designed to help juniors bond, perform fun activities, and most importantly, strengthen their relationship with God.
All juniors gathered together in the school’s gym to participate in fun activities that helped them engage better as a class.
Mrs. Melby, religion teacher at Loretto, organized the junior retreat and did not fail
to make it an unforgettable and successful event.
She is a loved teacher by the Loretto community.
Mrs. Melby said “Organizing is very stressful but it’s so worth it.
In the end when I see the juniors smiling and laughing, all the headaches, sweat, running around and sleep deprivation are worth it.”
All juniors had a lot of fun with the surprise activities organized for them.
Junior Melissa Hidalgo said “My junior retreat was very special because we as a class became a better community and we formed a better bond.
I loved all activities because we were able to show others how grateful we were and how much we appreciated each other.”
All the girls strengthened their relationship with God, and definitely grew closer as a class, the class of 2020.
Junior Macarena Barrio said “It was all about the junior community and I loved how Mrs. Melby planned a lot of activities that involved everyone.
I got to bond with all of my generation.”
The junior retreat was a successful event to bring the junior class closer together and share in their faith with God.
