This Christmas season has quickly approached the students at Loretto Academy, putting everyone in a jolly spirit.
Tradition is something that’s very valued here at the Loretto sisterhood, one of those traditions being Deck the Doors.
Every year students and faculty gather to trim their doors with paper snowflakes, bows, and tinsel.
Valerie Garcia, a junior at Loretto Academy said, “I think Deck the Doors is an amazing bonding experience with my classmates because we have so much fun making all the decorations and coming up with ideas”.
When asking Orlyola Tanchou what her favorite part of Deck the Doors was, she said, “I love the tradition because it brings our school community together in a creative and fun way.”
The students and faculty at Loretto are able to see many brilliant ideas come to life the entire month of December as they switch classes and walk the halls.
The almunia will vote for there favorite ornate door in this heated competition, and the winners will be able to brag about it for the following year.
