Coldplay Is Coming

Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour sells out shows in El Paso, TX, on June 13 and 14, 2025 at the University of Texas at El Paso Sun Bowl.

The anticipation of ticket sales for the concert grew shortly after the announcement of the world tour’s stops on October 8, 2024, with the option of pre-sale and general ticket sales.

On October 11, 2024, fans who received a code were able to gain early access to the artist presage for the June 13, 2024 show, which sold out in less than an hour, marking an immediate success for the band.

Due to the influx of more than 50,000 people waiting in queue on Ticketmaster, Coldplay added a second show for June 14, 2024, to accommodate the demand.

Depending on the seating choice, prices ranged from $500 for floor seats, $200 for lower stands, $90 for middle stands, and $50 for the highest stands.

The UTEP Sun Bowl is able to seat roughly 51,500 people; undoubtedly, the number of eager fans in our city wanting to see Coldplay is beyond impressive.

The rise in popularity of concerts over the recent months with artists, such as Luis Miguel, Jelly Roll, Fisher, and Faye Webster, shows a variety of artists that grab the attention of fans all over the city.

By drawing in new audiences, Coldplay’s concert will provide increased revenue and exposure to our local economy of hotels, restaurants, and society.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour could lead to future stops by other major artists, reinforcing the city’s reputation as a vibrant and welcoming community.

For multiple fans, seeing Coldplay live will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience that creates memories with friends, family members, or strangers with the effect concerts bring.

In my fourth year at Loretto Academy, I learned the importance of sisterhood and building deeper relationships and memories that will last a lifetime. Outside of writing, I enjoy baking, watching movies, and taking photographs. My future plans are to attend college at the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduate with a major in cybersecurity. With my experience and the support of my fellow officers, I am confident that we will have a successful year at The Prax alongside our mentor, Ms. Lockhart.
