The WNBA confirmed that the finals will transition to a best-of-seven series format beginning in 2025.
There are currently 12 teams in the WNBA that played 40 games but in 2025 the Golden State Valkyries will join the league adding 13 teams to the WNBA.

The Dodger’s extraordinary 2024 season performance was primarily attributed to their technique and team strategy which placed a value on uniformity as well as constant focus on winning.
Freddie Freeman from the Los Angeles Dodgers team was chosen as the 2024 World Series MVP due to his four home runs and 12 runs batted in (RBI) across the series along with his determination and leadership.
Freddie Freeman said, “Just got to keep going out there and keep swinging, that’s all I can really do; getting work in, doing everything I can to get ready for the game.”
The teams that participated in this year’s World Series made a strong impact and will continue to leave a lasting mark with their impressive performances.
The World Series this year left many in a rush leaving some feeling excited and others having mixed emotions, nevertheless both teams played well and deserve recognition for their hard work.
