Being the Entertainment Staff Reporter for The Prax has been an honor and a great accomplishment.

Through this experience I had the opportunity to work with great women that made each edition of The Prax special.

I will forever cherish the very special and random moments that took place inside room 112.

From being on the floor watching Pixar’s short ‘‘Lava’’, to every florida man story.

Writting for the school’s newspaper was an opportunity for me to grow as a writer and earn the confidence I can now enjoy.

Thank you to the co-editors-in-chief Mia and Mara for planning and being patient with each edition.

Section Editors, Maria, Marina and Angelica, thank you for working through my very rough drafts.

My other half Staff Reporter, Paulina, thank you for copying my templates.

One thing I will not miss are the book style quizzes that made me question my writing since first day.

A very special thank you to our teacher, Mrs. Lockhart, for completely changing my view towards creative and reporting writing.

Working along with these wonderful women helped me grow my confidence.

Thank you for making me feel like my words are worth of reading!

Hello, my name is Emily Aguilar, I am a Senior at Loretto Academy, and this is my third and last year at Loretto.

During my years of high school, I discovered my passion for writing and reporting.

This is the first time I am reporting for a newspaper and it is an honor to be able to do it with a team of talented classmates through the school's newspaper, The Prax.

Apart from writing I love reading and I enjoy investigating.

What I want to take from this year is the experience and hopefully expand my writing and reporting skills.

My plans after high school are to move with my parents and start full-time working in their businesses so I can expand my experience.

After settling my position at their companies, I intend to go to college and hopefully study more than one career.

I am eager to begin writing for The Prax!
