On October 23, 2018, Loretto students gathered in their homerooms to do the annual “Pumpkin Decorations”.

The themes for the decoration were different for each classification.

The freshmen had animated movies, the sophomores horror movies, the juniors superheroes, and the seniors musicals.

Many fun activities occurred while the students decorated the pumpkins.

For example, Halloween trivia questions were asked and one student from each homeroom could answer to try and win a prize.

Prizes included candies, cookies, and food.

The pumpkins had to be decorated before 4:30 p.m., and the accessories for the pumpkins had to be hand-made.

The 3 top pumpkins were The Lion, Spiderman, and Dorothy.

Mrs. Urias, homeroom teacher of the winning pumpkin, said, “I’m very proud of my homeroom girls, they did a great job.

Especially because when they started as freshmen, they didn’t do very well, but this year we won.

They are very creative, I’m very proud of all of them.”

It was a really fun experience for all classes and everyone learned something new.
