Saying goodbye is a bittersweet experience, as I know that good things are coming my way, but it’s hard to let go of the good things that I already have.
Today I get to say goodbye to the Prax, a safe place in school where I had the privilege of learning how to better my writing in more professional ways and sharing my writing with the rest of the school.
Writing for the Prax was one of the best experiences during my time at Loretto, as I had the privilege of reporting Loretto news and writing articles about them, but never without leaving my essence in each and every one of the articles I got to write.
Through the Prax I was able to share my opinions in a safe space, I got to talk to a great number of students and staff, and most of all I got to learn a lot of things that will be of use to me in the future.
The Prax is one of the most important parts of Loretto’s story, as it has been present for a very long time, and being able to form a part in The Prax’s history was the greatest honor.
For those considering joining journalism, I can tell you without a doubt that it is completely worth it; I promise you will learn in the most fun ways possible and will bond with your classmates in a very unique way.
Goodbye Prax, how lucky am I that saying goodbye to you will be so hard.
