As the class of 2024 prepares to graduate, a Senior Awards/Farewell Assembly was held at in Loretto’s gym.
On May 17, 2024 at 11:45 am seniors gathered at the cafeteria to prepare to walk one last time to the gym with their uniforms.
They were able to walk along with their friends, hands were held, hugs given, and some tears shredded.

Loretto Class president, Mia Montelongo and Loretto Student Body President, Christiane Tapia gave a nostalgic and very emotional speech, thanking the class and their sponsors for their work and wonderful moments.
The State of Texas Award Recognition was given to every senior along with some Who’s Who and Outstanding Student recognitions.
The awards were announced by the principal, Mrs. Nancy Tovar and presented by the school’s president, Mrs. Nicole Cobb.
The top ten percent for the class of 2024 was also announced.
The following girls included: Madison Aguirre, Andrea Avila, Angelica Castorena, Marina Cepeda, Isela Iglesias, Sophia Merjil, Valeria Portillo, and Christiane Tapia.
Their names were announced by alphabetical order, not ranking.
A small portion of the senior video was shown, our sister, James Charles, was missing, but the spirit and intention were there!
