At Loretto Academy, we value all relationships but our sisterhood is the most important, and at the center of that is always God.
Faith and community, both part of Loretto’s core values are important to our class retreats.
Freshmen at Retreat
As their first high school year, the Freshmen got to experience their first class retreat.
Freshman Ximena Delgado said ‘‘I really liked it a lot because I feel that it united us and we learned that we are going to be spending four years together and we need to learn to support each other as sisters.’’
Sophomores at Retreat
For the class of 2026, this is their second high school retreat.
Sophomore Teresa Benavente said ‘‘I got to experience what it means to be part of Loretto’s sisterhood and I understood why many girls talk about it.’’
Juniors at Retreat
On March 7, 2024, the juniors were able to experience this at Loretto Academy gym, along with their class.
As they reach their Senior year, their bond gets stronger and that’s what matters for the teachers that planned their retreat.
Ms. Franco, head sponsor of the Junior class of 2025 said ‘‘I saw a lot of bonding between the girls, it was very special because I’ve spent three years with this class already and we grow closer together every year.’’
When asked about her experience at her first Loretto Retreat, Junior Valeria Martinez said ‘‘It was awesome, it helped my class integrate more and bond.’’
A special Thank You to Mr. Barrios, Senior Sponsor to help plan the Junior’s retreat.
We are grateful for all of our teachers that make every retreat possible and every class that puts their effort into making each one special.
Loretto Academy hopes to continue this tradition of sisterhood with every upcoming class.
