As softball season begins to pick up traction, the Loretto Academy softball team shows their commitment and dedication to their teammates.
Every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday the team has practice at Ascarate park; they also have games on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The softball team has shown their sportsmanship as they played against several high schools such as Clint, El Paso High, and San Elizario.
Freshman, Claire Nowak, said, “The softball season has been going good.
We are just restarting the program so we still struggles to overcome but we’re getting there.
This has helped me to know girls in my grade and the grades above that I never would have and I’m very thankful for the hard work they put in for our team.”
Since the previous softball team ended in 2022, the Loretto team is just getting into the swing of things.
Junior, Brianna Farrish, said, “None of us in the team have ever played before, so every game we are improving which is great.”
As softball season continues to progress, The Prax shows its support to the Loretto Academy softball team!
