El Paso has had artists coming and going all year long, filling out city with music and entertainment.

Carrie Underwood made her way to El Paso on this year’s March 20 to perform at the Don Haskins Center.

Carrie Underwood, “Before He Cheats”, singer, brought her tour to El Paso, where she filled the venue with music and enjoyment from fans.

Los Angeles Azules are to bring a genre change after Carrie Underwood, who are performing on April 5 also at the Don Haskins Center.

A month after Los Angeles Azules, our local band Late Night Drive Home is bringing its Chronically Online tour to its hometown on May 7th.

Moving a little bit further from El Paso, Olivia Rodrigo took her Guts tour to Phoenix on February 24.

Senior at Loretto who attended the concert, Alexa Batista, said, “The concert was great; Olivia’s dancing and singing were amazing, and she made a very memorable show.

I talked to a lot of people who had traveled from El Paso to Phoenix just to attend the concert, just like me and my family.”

Last but not least, let’s not forget one of the most expected events in El Paso: Luis Miguel, who is visiting us this May.

From country music to pop, El Paso will have a whirlwind of different genres to choose from this year, rest assured that there will be an event for everyone to enjoy.

Hello, my name is Paulina Garcia, I'm a senior at Loretto, and this is my first year writing for The Prax.

I’m overjoyed to be working as a staff reporter for The Prax, as I hope to be able to talk and meet a variety of people with diverse points of view.

This is my third year at Loretto, and I’m grateful to have made some amazing friends along the way.

Whenever I’m not writing for the school paper, you can find me at your nearest Pilates class or buried in a book.

My future plans involve attending a university where I hope to study psychology.
