February 4, 2024, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences presented the 66th Annual Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena
Trevor Noah, comedian, writer, and producer hosted the event for the fourth consecutive year.
It was a watery event flooded with tears and rain as the guests experienced different setbacks due to the heavy rain in LA.
Nominees
Some of the many nominees were Lana Del Rey, Jon Batiste, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, and Victoria Monét.
In the 94 categories including pop, country and alternative, SZA stood out with nine nominations, becoming the most-nominated artists of the Grammys 2024, winning three of them.
Winners
American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers went home as the ultimate winner, taking four Grammys, three of which she won along with her band boygenius.
Rapper Killer Mike took home three Grammys and was dramatically escorted out by police.
Taylor Swift gave much to talk about when she announced her 11th studio album while giving her speech.
Swift won her 13th Grammy and during her acceptance speech she said, ‘‘So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years.’’
The Grammys were a beautiful night with many reasons to celebrate.
We hope to see them again next year with more celebrities walking the red carpet and taking home awards and recognition for their work!
