El Pasoans at Coachella

On January 16 the entire Coachella artist lineup was announced, and there’s some amazing news: El Paso is going to Coachella!

Late Night Drive Home, a band from El Paso, is taking over the Coachella stage on April 12 and April 19, 2024.

Late Night Drive Home is a four-member band with a very distinct retro style, which can be observed both in their fashion choice and musical style.

They currently have a following of over 2,000 on Twitter and 49,000 on Instagram, which keeps growing daily.

Mariana Zaizan, a freshman at Loretto Academy, said: “I have listened to their music on different occasions and I think they deserve more recognition than they get, their music is amazing.

They deserve to go to Coachella, it will hopefully get their music out there because they deserve it.”

It’s amazing to see a local band be able to perform at one of the most iconic music festivals in the world and hopefully, they’ll continue to grow in their musical journey.

Hello, my name is Paulina Garcia, I'm a senior at Loretto, and this is my first year writing for The Prax.

I’m overjoyed to be working as a staff reporter for The Prax, as I hope to be able to talk and meet a variety of people with diverse points of view.

This is my third year at Loretto, and I’m grateful to have made some amazing friends along the way.

My future plans involve attending a university where I hope to study psychology.
