On Thursday, May 17, 2023, Loretto held a sports banquet to honor the track, golf, and tennis teams.

The banquet was held in Loretto’s cafeteria, where tables were set up for parents and friends to attend.

The coaches gave speeches, and the following awards were distributed:

• Varsity Track:
  Most Dedicated: Isabella Candia
  Most Valuable Player: Clarissa Ruiz
  Most Improved: Daniela Rodriguez

• Varsity Golf:
  Most Valuable Player: Mia Bolivar
  Most Imporved: Fernanda Escobedo

• Varsity Tennis:
  Most Dedicated: Grecia Mares
  Most Valuable Player: Jayne Nowak

At the end of the banquet, the three seniors in attendance (Josephine Kelly, Jayne Nowak, and Eloisa Urrea) were given a bouquet of flowers to honor their athletic accomplishments.

Loretto junior Sophie Ryan said, “ I am sad that this year’s track season is over, but I look forward to what next year’s season has to bring.”

Congratulations to all the athletes who earned awards, and a huge thank you to Ms. Glover and all the coaches for putting on such a great season for all of the teams.
