To celebrate the season of giving, Loretto Academy held a Thanksgiving food drive on Nov. 15.

All donations went to the Holy Family Migrant Center and Annunciation House in El Paso, Texas.

Each grade of high school students donated a different category of goods.

The freshman donated bags of beans and bags of rice.

The sophomores donated cocoa powder, containers of instant coffee, and canola oil.

The juniors donated cans of corn, peas, and instant coffee.

Lastly, the seniors donated pasta and pasta sauce.

Additionally, Loretto’s Hope Club donated two large boxes of assorted vegetables, two boxes of sliced bread, bottles of mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup, and a large box of cookies, pastries, and toiletries.

During the holidays, it is especially important for Loretto students to give thanks for their blessings and give back to the El Paso community.

Great job, Angels!
