Netflix removes titles every once in a while. Expect these iconic tiles to be gone when you log back into Netflix for your next binge.

The year 2021, did not start very well for Netflix users and entertainment watchers as titles were removed from the platform.

After December 31, 2020, many popular titles were removed from Netflix due to expired licence agreements

Some of these series titles included Dexter, The Office and Gossip Girl, and movie titles such as The Notebook and Pride & Prejudice

The removal of some of these titles upset avid TV watchers like Cristina Herrera, a Junior attending Loretto Academy, who was particularly upset about the removal of Gossip Girl from Netflix.

Herrera said, “It’s just kind of unfair for them to take off a lot of shows out of nowhere, and it really sucks not being able to finish a show you started.”

However do not fear, these titles are not gone completely, some have moved to different streaming platforms and still have a possibility of coming back to Netflix.

You can now find Dexter and The Notebook on Hulu, The Office and Pride and Prejudice on NBC’s Peacock, and Gossip Girl on HBO Max.

Although these iconic titles have left the popular streaming service, over 62 new or renewed tiles are expected to come to Netflix in January 2021, alone.
