The Masters might have looked different this year, but the competition was still fierce.

The Masters is one of the four major men’s golf championships; winning a major allows more freedom and opportunities when touring.

It was not the average spring day in August, GA with fans holding their breath as the athletes swung their clubs.

After a seven-month delay due to COVID-19, on Sunday, November 15, 2020, Dustin Johnson clutched his first Masters’ title and green jacket after four days of playing and 72 holes of golf.

Playing along with Johnson were some big-name golfers such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Phil Mickelson, and Jordan Spieth.

Johnson took his second major championship win after a long streak of near misses: he has lost four of the last four majors that he was leading going into Sunday.

Johnson said, “As a kid, dreaming about winning and having Tiger put the Green Jacket on you, it still seems like it’s a dream, but I’m here and what a great feeling it is and I couldn’t be more excited.”

While it was strange without fans and played in the fall, the golfers adapted to the change and played record-breaking holes.
