The new PlayStation 5 console has no limits and unleashes a new and improved gaming experience for gamers everywhere.

PlayStation and Sony have revolutionized the way people around the world play games for the past 26 years. 

The PlayStation Five launched in the United States on November 12, 2020, making amazing sales and selling out quickly. 

Many eager fans of the past PlayStation consoles tried their best to get their hands on the new console, but not all were so lucky. 

Many like Victoria Chiu, a senior at Loretto Academy, managed to buy the Playstation Five.

Chiu said, “All of the major stores that were selling it sold out in seconds, so I ended up buying it on Ebay for a greater price.” 

Others were not so lucky like Chiu, in obtaining the hot new gaming console of 2020. 

Mr. Gad, Loretto history department teacher and one of the unlucky game lovers, said “Every retailer was sold out and GameStop was not even taking orders online anymore.” 

Mr. Gad ended up buying the exclusive backward compatible game Spider-Man: Miles Morales for comfort, which was released on the same date of the new console.

The PlayStation Five itself offers gamers of all kinds a next generation gaming experience.

It offers 4K/120 gameplay, 8K/60 support, a new PS Plus Collection, amazing controller haptics, a fast and new UI, and significantly faster load times to its users.

With its release price at $499 and its digital edition price at $399, gamers need to do research before investing in the pricey console and achieving a new level of console gameplay.
