The Loretto Academy community looks forward to the traditions that have been going on for years, including one of the most beloved traditions, Ring Rose!

Ring Rose is a ceremony between juniors and seniors where each member of the junior class picks a senior to be their big sister for this event.

The juniors are given their Loretto class ring by their big sister, and in return the seniors are given a yellow rose representing friendship.

Due to the Coronavirus, this event could not happen during the 2019-2020 school year however, our Leadership team has tried their hardest to reschedule Ring Rose but as COVID-19 cases rise, the further the ceremony is pushed back.

Senior Anacrsitina Villegas said, “I am really sad I didn’t get to experience Ring Rose my junior year, but I am hoping we will have one later this school year!”

Ring Rose is a time for the juniors to acknowledge that it is almost their time to be leaders of the school as the seniors pass it down to them on this beautiful occasion.
