What are your thoughts on online classes?

Freshman: Regina Beltran del Rio

“I honestly like online school. It was hard at first but once my teachers started setting due dates and spacing out the assignments it didn’t feel as stressful. It is harder to understand more difficult subjects, but I still like it better than normal school. I like the idea of staying home and being able to do work with the comfort of my own house.”

Sophomore: Alexis Perez

“I personally don’t like them that much because I feel like learning in an environment where you can see your friends and teachers is better than being home alone doing nothing where you don’t have much motivation.”

Junior: Anacristina Villegas

“I think that regular school is way better because you get to be with your friends and can ask questions whenever you have any. I feel that face-to-face conversations are so much easier rather than having to type it and be waiting for the teacher’s response.”

Senior: Ashley Maniates

“I like online school; however, I would rather be in the classroom. I find myself to be more distracted, less organized, and much more stressed. The coronavirus has taken away a lot of the enjoyments of senior year such as prom and Ring Rose. It’s super devastating and I hope everything gets cleared up so I get the opportunity to walk the halls of Loretto Academy one last time.”
