2020 was the most awaited year for sports, not only because of the 2020 Olympics but the Grand Prix, Champions League,Wimbledon, and many more.

Unfortunately, those events have been cancelled or postponed due to COVID-19.

This has caused grief to the fans and to the players that have been training for months to play in these games and tournaments.

One of the biggest tournaments for basketball, March Madness, was cancelled.

It is a basketball tournament where the NBA plays and goes down the bracket.

The 2020 Masters Tournament, which is a golf tournament, has been postponed until it is safe to play.

The Premier League in England has been notified that it has been the longest postponed game because a manager and a player tested positive.

The Miami Open is one of the biggest tennis tournaments, and it has been cancelled as well.

The Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix has been cancelled for the year 2020, but it is a recurring event that can be raced again next year.

The Summer Olympic Games have been postponed until next year; even though it was delayed it will still be held in Tokyo.

These sports are getting either cancelled or postponed to next year.

This means that next year, sport events are hopefully not going to be disrupted by other sports for dates.

Optimistically next year will be a great year for sports.
